Looking back, the architects noticed a number of elements these ostensibly diverse projects shared in common. Fragmentary indicators of thinking such as these, which transcend specific projects, can be seen as an index of the firm’s values. The architects refer to them as “tags”, and have organised this book around them, offering an in-depth look at the 50 projects through converting materials, applying what is there, deviating from convention, new/old hybrids, making spaces equivalent, and repeating units.
