This edition of a+u magazine is dedicated to Slovenian architects  Matija Bevk and Vasa J. Perović, who together head the renowned practice  Bevk Perović Arhitekti.
The flexibility of Slovene people  and culture is seen as an advantageous quality of the architects’ work,  which begins by accepting all given conditions no matter how restrictive  they might appear at first. Besides critical essays by Tadej Glažar and  Luis Fernández-Galiano, the issue features eighteen notable buildings  and projects in Ljubljana and beyond, such as the Cultural Centre of  European Space Technologies (KSEVT), Erasmushogeschool Brussels, NZS HQ,  Poljane student housing, NUK2 and several private residences.
