The focus of this issue of a+u magazine is architect Ti Lian Seng, principal design director of Singapore-based DP Architects’ projects in the Middle East.

Ti Lian Seng has been involved in many of the firm’s iconic projects in the past, and is currently working on developments in Istanbul, Dubai, Doha and China. Presented here is a selection of works in Singapore by DP Architects, including OUE Bayfront, Marina Square, Carlton Hotel Premier Wing, Carlton City Hotel, Mandarin Gallery, Sky@Eleven, and the forthcoming Twin Peaks residential towers. In two interviews, the history of DP Architects and its role in urban planning in Singapore is discussed, plus designing architecture in transforming cities.
