This long awaited fifth volume of The Complete Works series on the work of of Herzog & de Meuron introduces the sixty projects from the years 2002 to 2007 with characteristic meticulousness.

These include buildings that have already become architectural icons of the present, like the Olympic Stadium in Beijing and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg; but also projects, which, although they remain unrealized, have influenced the architectural discourse, like the residential tower for the Hotel Schatzalp over Davos, which gave fresh stimulus for building in the Alps.
