The January 2013 issue of a+u (Architecture and Urbanism) features architecture in Germany between 2000 and 2012. The director of Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM), Peter Cachola Schmal – selected 100 projects which illustrate the country's architectural achievement. Thirty-five projects are further selected from the list and introduced in detail under three themes: “Sustainability / Ecological”, “Working with the 'Bestand (Existing)'”, and “Contextual”.
