‘Values for Survival, the Venice Exploratorium: Cahier 2’ appears in the context of the parallel public research program of the Dutch contribution to the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, orchestrated by Caroline Nevejan.
Cahier 2 comprises the outcomes of the 14 research tracks of the Venice Exploratorium, which was held last July and August. In this Exploratorium, more than 50 artists, scientists, designers and activists mostly from Amsterdam and Venice worked together online. They never met before but collaborated in teams, focusing on the social and ecological challenges that Venice and Amsterdam share.
This is the second publication of the parallel public research program 'Values for Survival', which offers reflections, from the world of policy, research and design, on the main question of the Biennale 'How Will We Live Together?' on the one hand and on the other hand on the counter question of the Dutch Pavilion 'Who is We?'.
With contributions by: Huda AbiFarès, Brice Ammar-Khodja, Adnan Atik, Michel Banabila, Sofia Berberan, Camilla Bertolini, Samuel Bianchini, Julia Ubeda Briones, Zola Can, Francesca Cozzolino, Scott Cunningham, Marta Fernandez, Mohamed Gaber, Jerzy Gawronski, Paulina Grebenstein, So Young Han, Tymon Hogenelst, Carmen Hogg, Robin Hoske, Lada Hršak, Afaina de Jong, Sonja Junkers, Roberta Jurcic, Jani van Kampen, Aysegul Karaca, Sophie Krier, Klaas Kuitenbrouwer, George Kurian, Giovanni Laurenco, Fantina Madricardo, Hasna Hena Mamataz, Ivan Martinez, Marco Moretto, Jane da Mosto, Caroline Nevejan, Bettina Niendorf, Richard Niessen, Erica Overmeer, Gilberto Penzo, Marta Picciulin, Jesse van der Ploeg, Wouter Pocornie, Patricia Ribault, Christopher Roth, Elena Rucli, Vida Rucli, Sahand Sahebdivani, Hugo Scurto, Pinar Sefkatli, Francesco Sebregondi, Carolyn Smith, Eleonora Sovrani, Debra Solomon, Simone Spiga, Serginho Stekkel, Matteo Stocco, Janja Susnjar, Francesco Tiboni, Hugo Herrera Tobón, Quico Touw, Gunifort Uwambaga, Matteo Vianello, Willem van Zoetendaal.
